Remember how long it took for Summer to kick in last year ? I think it was the day before Joyride at Crankworx when the sun finally came out. All in all I think summer only lasted about 4 weeks in total for 2011. Anyways here is Slideshow form the Coastal Crew and friends form the Deep Summer Photo Showdown. Enjoy !

Our very good friend Danielle Baker has tells us a story about MTB on the North Shore with Photos. Every scar tells us a story of winning or losing but mostly losing. One of my favorite quotes comes from Kelly Walters “Who needs tattoo’s when you have scars ? “.
Keep your eyes peeled for more of Danielle’s work coming in the near future. She spent some time interning at Bike magazine this year and will also be working beside Sterling Lorence and Stephen Wilde setting up lights and packing heavy gear around and learning the ropes.
